EV Charger Ratio Solar MID

The Ratio Solar MID is designed for anyone who wants to combine solar EV charging with measurable returns through the ERE scheme. Ratio develops and manufactures its charging solutions entirely in the Netherlands, with short communication lines, local expertise and more than 15 years of experience. This charger combines the power of the Solar RFID with an integrated MID-certified energy meter, ensuring that every charged kWh is accurately registered for ERE reimbursement.

Free charging with solar panels

The Solar MID is optimised for charging with solar panels and supports charging modes such as PureSolar and SmartSolar. This allows the charging process to be aligned with the available solar energy. The integrated MID-certified energy meter accurately records energy consumption. This makes the charger suitable for reimbursement, settlement and the ERE scheme, allowing you to earn money for every charged kWh.

Smart charging without overload

With Dynamic Load Balancing, the Solar MID automatically adjusts the charging power to the available grid capacity. This ensures that enough power remains available for other appliances at home or on site, while the vehicle continues to charge safely. This helps prevent overload of the electrical installation. A Sense Kit is required for this function and is available separately.

Smart charging with control via the Ratio App

The Ratio EV App gives you insight into charging sessions, charging history and energy consumption. The app supports multiple users, vehicles and charge points at the same time. You can monitor charging sessions live and filter them afterwards by user, EV or charge point. Settings are stored in the Ratio cloud, with encrypted data storage via AWS cloud technology and processing in accordance with the GDPR.

Made for home and business use

The Solar MID supports both single-phase and three-phase charging and is suitable for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. The maximum charging capacity is 22 kW with three-phase charging, 230–400 V AC and 32 A. The housing has an IP54 rating, IK08 impact resistance and operates at temperatures from -25°C to +40°C. Power sharing supports up to 32 chargers via one grid connection.

MID meter for ERE reimbursement

The built-in MID-certified energy meter provides clear measurement data for every charged kWh. This registration is important for the ERE scheme, as the reimbursement is based on demonstrably measured charging consumption. No separate meter is required, and you remain in control of the actual energy consumption.
